Telmar Network Technology Repair Facility in Malaysia Achieves TL 9000 Certification

Telmar Network Technology’s facility is first repair services company in Malaysia to earn TL 9000 certification
 
PLANO, Texas, March 9, 2010 – Telmar Network Technology announced that it has achieved TL 9000 certification for its multi-vendor repair and spare parts management facility in Malaysia.  The facility, located in Kuala Lumpur, is the first repair services company in the nation of Malaysia to achieve TL 9000 certification.
 
In addition to its operations in Malaysia and India, Telmar has a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region with offices in Pakistan, the Philippines, and Taiwan.
 
An active member of QuEST Forum, Telmar is the only provider certified in both the TL 9000 procurement and repair services product categories and one of a few providers of pre-owned solutions currently certified to the TL 9000 procurement standard. Telmar’s facilities in Manesar, India; Plano, Texas; Irvine, California; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Tampa, Florida; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada, are TL 9000 certified. Its facilities in Solihull, United Kingdom, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and Antwerp, Belgium, are ISO 9001 certified.
 
TL 9000 is the quality management standard for the telecommunications industry developed by the QuEST Forum industry association. The standard includes all of ISO 9001, plus 92 additional telecom specific requirements and measurements focused on design, development, production, delivery, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications products and services.
