Former President of SBC Long Distance Yno Gonzalez joins Telmar Network Technology’s Executive Advisory Board

PLANO, Texas--Dec. 07--Telmar Network Technology announced the appointment of Yno Gonzalez to its Executive Advisory Board. Telmar’s Executive Advisory Board of esteemed industry visionaries advises the company in strategic and tactical growth initiatives and activities.

Gonzalez currently serves as senior vice president of network services at Healy and Co and also serves on Telemetria Technology’s Advisory Board. Prior to Healy he was senior vice president at AT&T. Gonzalez has also served as an officer at AT&T, president-SBC Long Distance at SBC, and senior vice president of network operations at AT&T Operations. Gonzalez is an active board member of HACEMOS - Hispanic/Latino Employee Association of AT&T, MESA – Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement, and UTPA – University of Texas-Pan American. A graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Gonzalez attended the Carnegie Mellon Executive Program for Advanced Technology Innovation.

Telmar’s Executive Advisory Board is chaired by Lawrence Babbio, former vice chairman and president of Verizon Communications, current senior advisor at Warburg Pincus, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stevens Institute of Technology and member of several boards including ARAMARK, Hewlett Packard, the Wallace Foundations and the New York Botanical Garden.  “Yno Gonzalez’s experience and in-depth industry knowledge is an invaluable asset to Telmar’s Executive Advisory Board,” said Babbio. “As the newest member of the Board, Yno will provide fresh insight for strategic initiatives focused on Telmar’s continued growth.”

Telmar’s Executive Advisory Board also includes Hubert de Pesquidoux, former chief financial officer and former president of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise; Krish Prabhu, former president and chief executive officer at Tellabs, former chief operating officer at Alcatel USA, member of the Board of Visitors, School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, and lifetime member of the Development Board of the University of Texas at Dallas; and Stephen G. Welch, president at Value Propositions, LLC, senior vice president of business development at ASSIA, Inc., member of Accenture’s Executive Advisory Board, executive advisor to the Board of Directors of QuEST Forum, and former chief procurement officer at AT&T.
